Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday accused the Centre of politically discriminating against Telangana by denying permission for his proposed visit to the United States to promote investments, education and sports.
Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat, Revanth Reddy said the State had submitted a detailed proposal to the Ministry of External Affairs outlining his meetings with universities, sports institutions, investors and strategic partners under the 'Telangana Rising 2047' vision. However, the Centre rejected the US visit, stating that "clearance from political angle is declined".
