Hyderabad, Aug. 8 -- Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao today condemned the alleged use of police force against unemployed youth who gathered at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium for recruitment to posts in the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA).

Over 15,000 job aspirants had reportedly gathered at the stadium for a walk-in recruitment drive for 150 contract posts, leading to an overcrowding situation at the venue. Police used batons and force to control the crowd, according to reports.

In a statement here, Rao said visuals of police personnel allegedly beating job aspirants were "painful and condemnable" and questioned the Congress government over the police action against unemployed youth.
