Patna, Sept. 24 -- Bihar Food and Consumer Protection Minister Ashok Choudhary on Thursday said accused in the Jamui incident were arrested within 24 hours and those involved in the Samastipur incident were apprehended within 12 hours, demonstrating the state government's commitment to taking action against crime.
Choudhary said no one involved in such heinous incidents would be spared and strict action would be ensured against those found guilty.
Talking to mediapersons after a public grievance hearing programme at the Janata Dal (United) state office here, he said the government was fully sensitive to incidents of crime and prompt action was being taken against the accused.
