Panchkula, July 1 -- Haryana Police on Wednesday intensified its statewide crackdown against organised crime with a series of coordinated operations in Hisar district, resulting in the destruction of about 600 litres of illicit lahan, seizure of 98.52 grams of heroin (chitta), arrest of a key drug supplier, action against illegal gambling and liquor rackets, besides a district-wide cyber awareness campaign.
A police official said the multi-pronged operations reflect the department's zero-tolerance approach towards narcotics, illegal liquor, cybercrime, gambling, and property-related offences.
