Kolkata, June 4 -- Senior BJP leader and minister Swapan Dasgupta on Thursday warned party workers against being carried away by the apparent disintegration within the Trinamool Congress (TMC), cautioning that individuals seeking refuge in the BJP to escape their past misdeeds should be viewed with suspicion.
Reacting to the ongoing infighting and reports of defections from the ruling party, Dasgupta said the BJP must remain vigilant and avoid allowing what he described as the "culture of vandalism and criminality" associated with sections of the TMC to seep into its ranks.
