Hyderabad, June 15 -- The Southwest Monsoon further advanced into some more parts of Telangana on Monday, besides covering the remaining parts of Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and the West-Central Bay of Bengal, as well as parts of Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar, according to the Meteorological Centre.
Under its influence, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places across Telangana from June 18 to 21.
The weather department has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kmph at isolated places in the state during the next seven days.
