Kolkata, Oct. 7 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday vowed to win all 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2029 general elections.
Speaking at an event in Gujarat's Vadnagar to mark Modi's 25 years in administrative office, Adhikari said, "In the next Lok Sabha election, under Modiji's leadership, we will work to gift him all 42 seats from Bengal."Adhikari, who cut short his scheduled visit to the hills to attend the programme, thanked Modi for what he described as the development of Bengal under his leadership.
He also attacked the previous governments in the state, particularly the Trinamool Congress, accusing them of pursuing "appeasement politics".
