Tridib BaparnashNew Delhi, June 8 -- India crushed Afghanistan by an innings and 300 runs inside three days in the one-off Test at New Chandigarh on Monday, with debutant Manav Suthar starring with a six-wicket haul in the first innings before the spin trio wrapped up the contest in emphatic fashion.
After declaring their first innings at a commanding 564/8, India bowled Afghanistan out for 152 before lunch on Day 3 and enforced the follow-on. The visitors fared little better in their second essay, folding for 112 in 35.5 overs as India completed a record innings victory.
