Colombo, Feb. 15 -- Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are set to renew their storied rivalry in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday, with skipper Suryakumar Yadav describing the contest as an occasion that brings unique pressure and significance.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, the high-voltage Group A clash will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium, with both teams entering the fixture unbeaten, though India currently top the standings on superior net run-rate.
"If you play any game, there is always pressure. And when you play an India-Pakistan game, it's more about the occasion," Suryakumar said during the pre-match press conference.
