Bengaluru, Oct. 23 -- BJP MP Tejasvi Surya today launched a scathing attack on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, accusing him of failing to deliver basic governance while indulging in diversionary politics.

Surya's remarks came amid rising political tensions over public infrastructure, law and order, and investment losses in the state.

Speaking to media, Surya said Siddaramaiah's repeated use of terms like "Amavasye, full moon, new moon" to describe him reflected a fundamental misunderstanding of governance and reality.

"The sun shines irrespective of whether it is a new moon or full moon day. Yet the Chief Minister's governance is an eclipse over Karnataka's progress," he said.
