Gorakhpur, Sept. 5 -- Describing border disputes, proxy war from Pakistan and instability in the neighbouring countries as the main security challenges before India, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan today praised the Indian forces for surprising the enemy after recent terror attacks and completing their tasks.
Speaking as the Chief guest at a seminar on 'National Security Challenges before India', the CDS said the first challenge to the country's security is the border disputes. In this context, he referred to the wars with Pakistan and China, which are the result of border disputes.
