Bengaluru, May 27 -- Karnataka's simmering Congress power struggle escalated sharply on Wednesday as AICC Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala publicly denied any immediate leadership decision even as intense political activity, closed-door meetings and resignation speculation surrounding Chief Minister Siddaramaiah gripped Bengaluru.
Amid mounting rumours of a possible transition formula involving Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Surjewala asserted that no Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting had been convened and no official decision had been taken by the party high command.
