Chandigarh, Feb. 25 -- Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Sunil Jakhar on Wednesday asserted that the state's deteriorating law-and-order situation has reached a point where even the opposition Congress has begun to look toward the BJP for a solution.
Addressing the media, Jakhar claimed that senior Congress leaders writing to the Central Government for intervention is a clear admission that only the "strong leadership" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah can rescue Punjab from its current crisis.
