Mumbai, May 4 -- Maharashtra Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar won the Baramati by-election by more than a margin of 2.14 lakh votes, smashing the record of her late husband and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in 2019, according to results announced here on Monday by the Maharashtra State Election Commission.

She received 2,18, 930 votes while 22 rival candidates opposing her, taken together, along with 'none of the above' (NOTA), had to be content with only 4,837 votes.
