Bhubaneswar, Jan. 26 -- The Odisha Government showcased a spectacular tableau on the theme "Women in the Transport Sector" at Mahatma Gandhi Marg during the state-level Republic Day celebrations on Monday.

The display celebrated "Nari Shakti", highlighting the inspiring journey of Munni Tigga, a woman from Sundargarh who defied societal norms and personal hardships to become a trailblazing locomotive pilot.

At 41, Munni Tigga has been driving freight trains for 14 years, breaking barriers in a male-dominated profession.
