Shimla, Aug. 21 -- Former minister and BJP MLA Sudhir Sharma on Friday questioned the timing and procedure of the Vigilance inquiry against him, saying summoning an opposition legislator to the agency's headquarters in Shimla during an ongoing Assembly session was unprecedented. Sharma appeared before the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau at its Shimla headquarters and provided the information and documents sought by the investigating agency.

Several BJP legislators, including Vipin Singh Parmar, Satpal Singh Satti, Balbir Verma, Dr Janak Raj, Indradutt Lakhanpal, Rakesh Jamwal and Trilok Jamwal, reached the headquarters to extend support to him.
