Shimla, April 27 -- Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that natural farming is the future of Himachal Pradesh and emphasised the pivotal role of agricultural universities in promoting sustainable practices among farmers.

Addressing a virtual function from Shimla at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry on Sunday, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of development projects worth Rs 34.31 crore.

Among the projects inaugurated was a 107-bed hostel at the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Neri in Hamirpur district, constructed at a cost of Rs 3.63 crore.
