Imphal, Aug. 30 -- A joint operation by Manipur and Tamil Nadu Police has led to the arrestof a couple wanted in connection with the gruesome discovery of a woman's dismembered body inside a suitcase aboard the Tamil Nadu Express, nearly four weeks after the case first came to light.
According to police, on August 5, passengers travelling on the Chennai-New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express complained of a foul smell from an unreserved compartment. When the train reached Agra Cantonment station, Railway Police found an unclaimed red trolley suitcase containing decomposed, headless human remains wrapped in polythene.
