Bengaluru, June 22 -- A fresh political storm erupted in Karnataka on Monday after the Bharatiya Janata Party accused the state government of prioritising political rallies over NEET UG re-test candidates, following severe traffic congestion in Bengaluru that allegedly disrupted students' movement to examination centres.
The controversy centres around reports that a Congress programme in the city led to massive traffic snarls across key routes during examination hours, causing panic among students and parents. Several candidates were left stranded in gridlocked traffic, with at least three reportedly missing the exam due to delays.
