Mau, Nov. 7 -- In a major action by the Anti-Corruption Organization Team, Sub-Inspector Ajay Singh of Haladhar Pur police station was caught red-handed on Friday evening while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000. The arrest took place around 4 pm at a juice shop located next to the police station. The team immediately took the accused officer to Dakshin Tola police station for questioning. News of his arrest created a stir within the police department.
