Bhubaneswar, Sept. 5 -- Students should not allow social media distractions or misinformation to derail their careers, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said on Saturday, urging them to remain focused on their studies, skill development and career-building.
Interacting with students at a Guru Divas celebration at Secondary Board High School in Cuttack, Majhi said their foremost responsibility is to study well, acquire skills and contribute to their own development as well as the country's progress.
"Students should stay away from activities that could come in the way of building their careers," he said, stressing that education was not merely about acquiring knowledge but also about shaping individuals.
