Imphal, Sept. 1 -- Thousands of students staged protests and burnt copies of Independent People's Tribunal Report of PUCL on Manipur crisis for allegedly publishing a report given by a party while completely ignoring the report submitted by another party involved in the conflict.
Students of GP Women College, YK College and about 12 other colleges and over 15 schools of Manipur burnt the copies.
A student said the report stated that about 250 Churches were burnt but it didn't mention that most Kuki are Christian and large numbers of Meitei are Christians and more Meitei Churches were burnt.
