Dharamshala, July 27 -- Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (HPSDMA) Vice-Chairman Deepak Rathore on Monday stressed the need to further strengthen the network of Aapda Mitras (trained disaster volunteers) and emergency communication systems to enhance the state's disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
During his visit to the office of the Kangra District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Rathore reviewed various disaster management arrangements and ongoing training activities.
