Srinagar, March 3 -- Authorities enforced strict restrictions across parts of Kashmir on Tuesday as protests continued over the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
For the second consecutive day, curbs remained in place in parts of Srinagar and some other districts following clashes on Monday that left nearly a dozen people, including security personnel, injured. Heavy deployment of police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) was witnessed in sensitive areas to prevent gatherings and maintain law and order.
The restrictions are likely to continue in sensitive areas on Wednesday.
