Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 27 -- The State Committee of the Travancore Devaswom Employees Front has demanded strict legal action against Sunny M. Kapikad for allegedly making highly derogatory and obscene remarks about Lord Sree Dharma Sastha and Malikappurathamma of Sabarimala through social media.
The organisation has submitted formal complaints to the Kerala Chief Minister, Home Minister, Minister for Health and Devaswom, and the State Police Chief, seeking registration of a non-bailable case under Sections 299, 196 and 353 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, along with relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act.
