Gorakhpur, June 4 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a firm stance on land-related complaints raised during Janata Darshan.
He directed District Magistrates to ensure strict action wherever negligence is found in the resolution of land-related grievances.
Depending on the seriousness of the matter, suspension proceedings should be initiated against the responsible officials. He emphasized that laxity or negligence at any level would not be tolerated.
During his visit to Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister met people and listened to their grievances at the Janata Darshan held at Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday morning, marking the second consecutive day of the public interaction programme.
