Hyderabad, July 12 -- CPI Telangana State Secretary and Legislative Party leader, Kunamneni Sambasivarao, today urged political parties to end their disputes over the Kaleshwaram project and focus on ensuring irrigation water for farmers.
Addressing the concluding session of a three-day CPI political training camp at Wanaparthy, Sambasivarao said decisions on the Kaleshwaram project should be based on the report of the Central Water Commission (CWC) rather than political considerations.
Referring to the differing views of the BRS and Congress on operating the Kannepalli pump house, he said both parties should refrain from making provocative statements.
