Stock markets pared their early gains, Sensex loses 625 points from day's high

New Delhi, June 10 -- Indian Stock Markets pared their early gains during afternoon trade amid profit booking at higher levels. At close, Sensex settled 64.42 points or 0.087 percent higher at 73,983.18 while Nifty was down 27.15 points or 0.12 percent at 23,214.95.

Sensex loses 625 points from the day's high. Stock Markets opened with gains opening up by 288.6 points, or 0.4 percent, at 74,207.4, while the Nifty gained 74.7 points, or 0.3 percent, to 23,316.8Among the sectors, the gainers were FMCG, private banks and financial services with Nifty FMCG index was up by over 1 percent higher while private bank index advanced 0.72%.
