Itanagar, June 22 -- Arunachal Pradesh Health Minister Biyuram Wahge on Monday inaugurated the State Teleradiology Hub along with a Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), Naharlagun.
The initiative, implemented under the National Health Mission (NHM), aims to create a statewide digital radiology network linking hospitals and health centres across Arunachal Pradesh with expert radiologists.
Under the new system, X-rays, CT scans and other radiological images generated at remote healthcare facilities can be securely transmitted online for expert interpretation and reporting, significantly reducing delays in diagnosis.
