Chennai, July 23 -- Questioning as to why Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay not personally meeting handing over the copies of the Assembly resolution adopted on the Mekedatu dam row involving Karnataka, DMK President M.K.Stalin on Thursday urged the TVK government to take immediate and decisive action to secure Cauvery waters for the state and provide a new relief package to distressed farmers to save the Kuruvai crops in the delta region hit by non-opening of Mettur dam for irrigation due to poor storage level.
