Chennai, Sept. 6 -- During the ongoing TN Rising Europe investment driveled by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, UK-Based Hinduja Group hassigned an MoU with the TN Government to invest Rs. 7500 crore in the state.

The Group would invest in businesses towards cell and battery manufacturingfor EV, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and EV charging stations,thus expanding the electric vehicle ecosystem and generating over 1,000 jobs.

An official release here said today that further, AstraZeneca announced itsthird strategic investment in Tamil Nadu in two years--a Rs.176 crore expansionof its Global Innovation and Technology Centre (GITC) in Chennai.
