Chennai, Feb. 24 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday inaugurated 90 houses for the inmates of the Sri Lankan Rehabilitation camp at Perumalpuram in Kaniyakumari district and also vowed to continue his fight to secure permanent citizenship for them.
Speaking after launching the new constructed houses at the Reahabilitation camp, the Chief Minister said his government has been providing permanent houses for the Sri Lankan Tamil brethrens.
He said he would alslo fight to secure permanent citizenship for the refugees, who were living in Indian soil for a long time and exuded confidence of the Indian government accpeting the genuine demand and soon according the same.
