Chennai, Sept. 5 -- The Tamil Nadu Government tody signed MoUs with Hinduja Group andAstra Zenca committing a total investment of Rs 5,176 crore in the presence of Chief MinisterM K Stalin in London, who is on an European Investment Mission to UK.
Under the MoU, Hinduja Group would set up facilities in E-Vehicles, Battery Technology andspareparts manufacturing involving an investment of Rs 5,000 crore and creating over 1,000job opportunities in the Stte.
The Astra Zenca as part of its third pase of investment, has committed Rs 176 crore over thenext two years to expand its Global Innovation Technology Centre (GITC) in the state.
