Chennai, June 3 -- Rich tributes were paid to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK Patriarch M Karunanidhi on his 103rd birth anniversary in the state on Wednesday.
On behalf of the government, Minister Rajmohan garlanded his statue in the city and paid tributes to mark the occasion.
Meanwhile, Karunanidhi's son and DMK President M K Stalin, also a former CM, along with senior party leaders, including Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin, former Ministers, MPs, MLAs, district secretaries and functionaries, garlanded his statue and paid floral tributes to his portrait across the state and also launched welfare measures.
