Supaul, Aug. 31 -- The 45th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Nepal's Armed Police Force (APF) on Monday held a coordination meeting to strengthen security and coordination along the India-Nepal border.
The meeting, held at Bhimnagar check post in Supaul district, focused on the prevailing security situation along the border, information sharing and coordinated action against illegal activities, including drug and human trafficking.
Officials from both sides discussed measures to prevent illegal movement and smuggling, ensure prompt sharing of information on suspicious persons and activities, and make joint patrolling more effective and regular.
