Shillong, Oct. 14 -- The Meghalaya Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan School Association (MSSASA) on Monday said that the State government is considering taking over SSA schools and also rationalising school teachers under SSA.
Emerging out after meeting and submitting a memorandum to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, MSSASA President, Aristotle Rymbai said, the association was assured that the government is considering their demands.
Terming the outcome of the meeting with Chief Minister as "positive", Rymbai said, "The chief minister has informed the association that the paper works regarding the pending issues of the SSA teachers pertaining to the taking over of SSA schools"Moreover, he said that the implementation of pay structure for over 14,000 SSA ...
