Srinagar, March 19 -- On the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, the managing body of Kashmir's grand mosque urged authorities not to bar Eid prayers at Jamia Masjid, as was done on Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida.

Eid -ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramazan, is expected to be celebrated either on Friday or Saturday, depending on the appearance of the moon in Kashmir.
