Srinagar, May 26 -- In a major action against narcotics trafficking under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, police on Tuesday attached an immovable property belonging to an alleged drug peddler from Anantnag district in connection with a narcotics case registered in Srinagar.

Police said the attached property comprises a residential house belonging to Aamir Hassan Mir, a resident of Bonpora Dupatyar in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district. The property is estimated to have a market value of around Rs 1 crore.

The attachment was carried out under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR registered in 2026 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Shergari, Srinagar.
