Ontimitta (Kadapa Dist), March 27 -- : The Sri Rama Navami Brahmotsavams commenced on Friday with the ceremonial Dhwajarohanam at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple.
The ritual was performed between 9:30 am and 10:15 am during the auspicious Vrishabha Lagnam, in accordance with Pancharatra Agama traditions.
The sacred Garuda flag was hoisted as per scriptural procedures under the supervision of Kankana Bhattar Rajesh Kumar.
Earlier, the Garuda flag was taken in a ceremonial procession, followed by rituals including Garuda Pratishta, Prana Pratishta and Netronmeelanam.
The Dhwajasthambham was offered Navakalasa Panchamrita Abhishekam, while deities including Indra, Navagrahas and Ashta Dikpalakas were invoked through traditional offerings....
