Puri, Sept. 8 -- The Sri Jagannath Temple administration has secured intellectual property rights over three more names traditionally associated with the Srimandir in the third phase of its trademark registration initiative, temple chief administrator Aravinda Padhee said on Tuesday.
Addressing the media, Padhee said Srimandir, Sri Nagar and Ratnabhandar have been registered under the Trade Marks Act.
In the first phase, the temple administration had secured trademark registration for Anand Bazar, Patitapaban and Nilachakra, the latter also being the temple's logo.
In the second phase, five more names - Jagannath Dham, Srikhetra, Koili Baikuntha, Mahaprasad and Nilachakra - were registered.
