Chandigarh, July 31 -- Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gadgajj on Friday urged members of the Sikh community to have larger families, expressing concern over what he described as the declining Sikh population.
Addressing a gathering at Battian Wala Chowk in Kotkapura, Faridkot district, he said demographic challenges should be viewed as a matter of collective responsibility and appealed to every Sikh family to have at least three children.
"The Sikh population is decreasing day by day. Every Sikh should have at least three children," Gadgajj said during his address.
