New Delhi, March 7 -- In view of the upcoming ICC Men's T-20 World Cup final in Ahmedabad on Sunday and the sharp rise in airfares as well as non-availability of tickets, Indian Railways has decided to run a special train from New Delhi to Sabarmati to facilitate cricket fans.
According to officials, the special train (No. 04062) will depart from New Delhi at 11:45 PM on Saturday night and reach Sabarmati at 2:30 PM on Sunday.
The train will halt at Delhi Cantt, Gurugram and Jaipur en route.
The 19-coach train will have 2nd AC and 3rd AC coaches to accommodate passengers travelling to Ahmedabad to watch the T-20 final match.
