Lucknow, Oct. 15 -- Election Commission of India( ECI) has announced a schedule for the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls with the eligibility date of January 1, 2027 and final publication of electoral rolls on January 4, 2027.
UP Chief Electoral Officer( CEO) Navdeep Rinwa stated here on Thursday that, as per the schedule, the allocation and reorganization of polling stations will be completed by November 2, 2026. The consolidated electoral rolls will be published in writing on November 12, 2026. Following this, the period for receiving claims and objections has been set from November 12 to December 11, 2026.
