Panchkula, Aug. 24 -- Panchkula district will conduct a special drive on August 29 and 30 to accelerate the second phase of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and prepare an error-free voters' list, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Satpal Sharma said on Monday.
He urged residents who attained the age of 18 years by July 1 to get themselves enrolled as voters and participate in the democratic process.
Sharma said that under the Election Commission of India's directions, the Special Intensive Revision Phase-II is being carried out across the district.
