Special drive to enrol new, left-out voters begins across Keralam

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 15 -- The special drive to enrol new voters and include eligible voters left out of the electoral roll began across Keralam on ThursdayThe Chief Electoral Officer, Keralam, has launched the initiative across all Assembly constituencies to ensure that every eligible citizen is included in the electoral roll.

The drive involves 14 District Election Officers, 140 Electoral Registration Officers, 140 Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, 3,000 Booth Level Officer Supervisors and 30,471 Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

An awareness campaign will be conducted across the state to encourage eligible citizens to register as voters and verify that their names are included in the electoral roll.
