Rio De Janeiro, Aug. 16 -- Botafogo has signed Spanish forward Chris Ramos on loan from Cadiz FC, the reigning Brazilian and South American champions said.
The 28-year-old, whose contract with the Spanish side runs until June 2028, arrives on a 12-month deal with an option to buy.
"The Spaniard is already in Brazil, where he underwent exams and signed a contract," read a statement on Botafogo's official website on Friday.
Ramos has made 92 appearances and scored 17 goals for Cadiz since joining the Spanish club
from Lugo in January 2023. Botafogo is currently fifth in Brazil's 20-team Serie A standings and
has reached the last 16 of the Copa Libertadores, South America's premier club competition.
