Lucknow, Sept. 27 -- Dr Rajeshwar Singh, BJP MLA from Sarojininagar assembly segment of Lucknow, said that the rapid advancement of military capabilities in space is emerging as a major future national security challenge. Future conflicts may extend beyond land, sea and air, with Space and cyberspace becoming critical fronts, he claimed.
He said the US disclosure regarding 'space control weapons', growing space capabilities of China and Russia, and initiatives such as the Golden Dome missile defence system signal a rapidly changing global security environment. Any attack on satellites could disrupt communication, navigation, banking and military systems, he added.
