Lucknow, Aug. 26 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has hit back at Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav's announcements regarding women, calling them election-related and empty promises.
BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi, calling the SP anti-women, said that the women of the state have not forgotten the SP's rule.
Mr Tripathi said, "Daughters were scared of SP workers."The SP's red cap is a symbol of danger for women. He alleged that during Akhilesh Yadav's tenure, the most atrocities against women occurred and girls had to leave school due to fear of miscreants.
