Palakkad (Kerala), July 25 -- Southern Railway has launched three indigenously developed digital applications-e-TSR (Electronic Train Signal Register), RBMS (Railway Block Management System) and DOST (Delivering Occupational Safety on Track)-aimed at improving safety, efficiency and digitalisation of railway operations.
Conceived and developed in-house, the three solutions digitise some of the most safety-critical routines of day-to-day railway operations, including the recording of train signal events, sanctioning and management of engineering blocks, and protection of staff working on and near running lines, a release said.
