New Delhi, May 6 -- South India's housing market is emerging as a hub for the ultra-luxury segment, moving beyond its traditional mid-income demand.

Three southern cities,Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai-recorded 811 ultra-luxury home sales (priced at Rs 10 crore and above) worth a combined Rs 11,246 crore in FY26, according to a joint report by India Sotheby's International Realty and CRE Matrix.

In the region, Hyderabad has emerged as the clear leader in South India's ultra-luxury segment, with 625 units sold, totaling Rs 8,562 crore-constituting 77% of the total ultra-luxury sales across the three cities.
